Poker Run Success for Aariyah Cox: A Community's Dedication Shines Through

On June 22, 2024, our community came together for a heartwarming cause: a poker run to support Aariyah Cox and her family. Despite the turnout not being as high as we had hoped, the event was a resounding success, raising an impressive $10,000. This amount will go a long way in providing much-needed support for Aariyah and her loved ones.

The Planning and Effort

Organizing the poker run was a true labor of love. Months of meticulous planning, coordination, and hard work went into making the event happen. Our dedicated group of ladies, friends, and family, worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was perfect, from mapping out the route to securing sponsors and obtaining auction items.

Route and Stations

The poker run featured a scenic route that took participants through some of the most beautiful parts of our area. With five designated stations along the way, participants collected poker chips at each stop, allowing them to draw 5 poker cards per hand upon their return. Each station was manned by one or more of our beautiful ladies who cheered on the participants and ensured everything ran smoothly.

The Day of the Event

On the day of the event, the air was filled with excitement and camaraderie. Even though the number of participants was lower than anticipated, those who attended brought an incredible amount of energy, enthusiasm and money. Riders of all ages and backgrounds joined in, united by the common goal of supporting Aariyah and her family.

Community Support

One of the most touching aspects of the poker run was the outpouring of support from our community. Local businesses donated prizes, food, and other essentials, while individuals contributed their time and resources to help make the event a success. The sense of community was palpable, and it was heartening to see everyone come together for such a worthy cause.
